Tin stabilizer

(1) The biggest advantage of transparent organotin stabilizer is its excellent transparency. With the PVC formula of organotin stabilizer, crystalline products can be obtained. Because of this, organotin can be used in bottles, containers, corrugated plates, various types of hard packaging containers, hoses, profiles, films, etc.

(2) At present, no other type of heat stabilizer can surpass it in terms of thermal stability. Therefore, it is the preferred stabilizer for rigid PVC, and some varieties have better properties in soft products. It is suitable for all PVC homopolymers, such as emulsion, suspension and bulk PVC, as well as copolymer, graft polymer and blend polymer of vinyl chloride.

(3) Most of the organotin stabilizers are nontoxic. In addition, the migration of organotin stabilizers in rigid PVC is very small. Therefore, organotin stabilizers are the preferred heat stabilizers for PVC in contact with food.

(4) Good compatibility organotin stabilizers have good compatibility with PVC, so it will not precipitate on the metal surface as common as lead salt stabilizers and metal soap stabilizers.

(5) The stannum stabilizers with poor lubricity and sulfur have poor self lubricity. Therefore, many of the sulfur-containing organostannum sold in the market are matched with lubricants to prevent the hot melt from adhering to the processing equipment during processing.
